CLIFFS, COUNTRYSIDE & GARDENS
Right on the South West Coast Path and backing on to National Trust coastline, it's the perfect base for walks, long or short, around the spectacular coastline. Shetland ponies, horned Devon cows and the occasional seal can all be spotted very close by. Further inland, then Dartmoor is only 30 minutes away. The gardens at Overbeck's (right behind Estuary House) are beautifully maintained.
ART & ARCHITECTURE
A large number of National Trust and English Heritage properties are located within a 45 minute drive, the gallery at Torre Abbey in Torquay and the new Box in Plymouth have excellent galleries. (Click to see more)
